The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 146 suspects during coordinated raids on black spots and criminal hideouts across Abuja.

According to police intelligence sources who spoke exclusively to Zagazola Makama, the operation was carried out on Tuesday, by officers drawn from multiple divisions, including Wuse, Gwagwalada, Kubwa, Kabusa, Nyanya, Mpape, Utako, Maitama, Apo, Tungan Maje, and Zuba, alongside the tactical Scorpion Squad.

The sources disclosed that the raids specifically targeted notorious zones such as Gidan Drama in Zuba and Anagada. During the swoop, law enforcement agents recovered five cutlasses and an assortment of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, along with other illicit substances.

All 146 suspects are currently in police custody, undergoing profiling and interrogation. Police sources said those found guilty of any offenses will be arraigned in court upon conclusion of investigations.
