2025 U-20 AFCON: CAF formally welcomes Flying Eagles to Egypt

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have been formally welcomed to Egypt by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The event took place at the Jewel Sports City Hotel in Cairo.

The players and their officials were briefed on the tournament’s guidelines by the CAF officials.

They were later moved to their official abode, Radisson Blu Hotel which is also situated in Cairo.

DAILY POST recalls the Flying Eagles arrived in Egypt for the biennial competition last week Sunday.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will open their campaign against Tunisia on Thursday.

The encounter will hold at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium, Cairo. It will kick-off at 4pm Nigerian time.
