Head coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle has named six great players in his squad.

Chelle will hope to lead the Super Eagles to another victory when they take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening.

The World Cup qualifier will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo by 5:00 pm.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Monday ahead of the encounter, Chelle said the likes of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare and Sadiq Umar are all great players.

“Victor is a superstar so we need to work together, every player needs to work together to help our star score lot of goals,” Chelle told reporters in Uyo.

“Every player in this team is a great star. Alongside Victor, you have Boniface, Tolu, Umar, Lookman, Samuel [Chukwueze], you have many great players

“We need to play with the same identification, just for scoring goals. This is why we need to bring a game project for the team.”

A win against Zimbabwe will see the Super Eagles get 9 points and bolster their chances in a bid to qualify for the World.
