2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe hold first training in Uyo

The Warriors of Zimbabwe will hold their first training session in Uyo on Sunday morning (today).

The session will hold at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Michael Nees' side arrived Uyo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday six encounter with the Super Eagles on Saturday.

The Warriors are expected to have a feel of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium venue of the game on Monday.

They will be up against the Super Eagles on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe held Benin Republic to a 2-2 draw in their last game at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban on Thursday.

The Warriors occupy bottom spot in Group C with three points from five games.
