2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe hold first training in Uyo ahead Super Eagles clash

The Warriors of Zimbabwe had their first training session in Uyo on Sunday afternoon, DAILY POST reports.

The session took place at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The players and technical crew members were in buoyant mood as they prepare for the upcoming clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Michael Nees' side will have a feel of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Monday night.

The Warriors will be up against the Super Eagles at the venue in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday six encounter on Tuesday.

Zimbabwe are winless in Group C with three points from five games.
