Hadwin was hoping to produce some magic after sliding to 76th on the Official World Golf Ranking.

The Canadian is yet to secure a top-20 finish in eight PGA Tour starts this year.

And it appeared the pressure got to him at Innisbrook.

The ace had failed to make the grade in the second round yesterday.

Confirmation came on the ninth green as Hadwin failed to replicate his 2017 Valspar victory.

And his frustration spilled over with a petulant piece of play.

As Hadwin walked off in anger, he smashed his club into the ground while releasing some steam.

Unfortunately for the ace though, Hadwin ended up breaking a sprinkler buried in the grass.

The powerful jets of water immediately exploded upon impact, sending liquid everywhere.

Hadwin, who had initially walked off, came straight back with a sheepish look on his face.

He tried his best to stop the water flow while searching for a valve.

But Hadwin could not stop it from spraying all over the shop.

And fans were left chuckling as they reacted on social media.

One said: “He should be DQ’d for that.”;

Another declared: “Oh wow that’s embarrassing.”;

One noted: “Make him stand there until they fix it.”;

Another added: “Dumb move, he is soaked through.”;
