AS one of the hottest stars of the moment appearing in the latest series of The White Lotus, Aimee Lou Wood has won herself a legion of fans.
The 31-year-old, who has previously admitted to struggling with when she was younger, shared the she swears by to feel beautiful.



Aimee, who shot to fame on Netflix’s , loves products by minimalist make-up brand, Merit.
So much so, she shared a full tutorial using the clean, vegan and cruelty-free products.
“This is quite a big deal for me today,”; she said in the video, posted to . “I'm doing my own make-up, which is rare. I'm really bad at it.
“I grew up with a make-up artist sister, so I never even did it then. And then I became an actor, and everyone is always doing it for me.”;
Aimee started by using Merit’s Minimalist perfecting complexion stick in Bone.
The multitasker comes in 30 shades and costs £33, with bosses at the saying: “It's not a foundation or a concealer, but it’ll replace both in your make-up bag.”;
The actress then applied the £26 Flush Balm in shade Archival, which is a cream tint for the cheeks “that melts into skin for a lit-from-within colour that stays flush all day”;.
Archival is a cool mauve, but there’s also red, pink and neutral hues.
Over the blush, Aimee applied Merit’s Day Glow highlighting stick that costs £28 and comes in four hues.
For her eyebrows, she used the £21 Brow 1980 volumising pomade, which is essentially a mascara for the brows.
Aimee revealed: “My eyebrows are very, very sensitive.
“I had a bit of a nightmare before my prom... went and got them threaded, she took off 99% of my eyebrow.
“So now, I don't let anyone touch my eyebrows.”;
For eyelids, Aimee used Merit’s £21 Solo Shadow, which is a buildable, cream-to-powder eyeshadow that gives “a soft-matte wash of colour”;.

And finally, her lips were a combination of the brand’s Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner in shade Coupe and lip gloss Shade Slick Sheen in shade Pointelle, both of which cost £26.
“A big thing for me growing up was my mouth because it was the thing that everyone pointed out and it was the thing that made me different,”; Aimee candidly revealed.
“And I'd never seen an actress on TV with teeth like mine.
“When did the ‘Get the London Look’ advert and she had the gap teeth, that was a huge moment.
“I thought, ‘no, I am gonna put red lipstick on and I am gonna draw attention to it’.
“The best photos are always candid ones. When you're just living, you're in motion and you're free. The more that you can surrender, the more beautiful you feel.”;
