Published on April 08, 2025 at 08:54 AM

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) launched airstrikes on a notorious bandit camp in Malam Aibo, Tsaskiya forest, Katsina on Monday night.

Security analyst Bakatsine confirmed the operation via his verified X handle on Tuesday.

“Yesterday night, NAF airstrikes hit Malam Aibo camp in Tsaskiya forest, Katsina State,”; he wrote.

In a separate development, police operatives from the Dutsin-Ma Division successfully rescued several women kidnapped by gunmen in the Wawaye community.

The police, responding swiftly to intelligence, launched an operation that disrupted the attackers' plans, forcing them to abandon their captives and flee.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incidents.
