ALAN Carr has revealed a mortifying moment where a woman was left in tears on Interior Design Masters.
The hit show is returning for another series with funnyman Alan at the helm once again.


, has been hosting the format since 2021, when he replaced Fearne Cotton.

Speaking exclusively to Flying Eze's TV Mag, Alan has revealed one recipient of the makeover was left in tears.
He recalled: “I'm not naming and shaming, but there was one where we were waiting and the woman came around the corner crying.
“We were like: ‘Oh my God, she loves it!’ And as she was getting closer, I was like: ‘Oh, they're not happy tears!’”;
The presenter also let slip a major filming secret – admitting the transformations are undone the next day.
Alan explained: “We do it back the next day to how it was before.
“That's in the contract.”
BBC bosses have also invested in , as Alan said the standard has increased.
He said: “They've really pushed the boat out with the spaces in this series. The first one is in the gorgeous Lake District doing youth hostels, then we do a dog's transition room at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
“We do comedy clubs in Edinburghâ they were actually doing up some that I performed in when I was in the Fringe back in 2003 and 2004, so that was really emotional for me â andquirky cottages up in Portmeirion for the final.
“The way they push the envelope keeps me excited, because it's the sixth series now, so they need to excite me, the designers the audience.”;
