SHOPPERS are stocking up on Aldi's “very best” sell-out crisps after the budget supermarket brought them back to stores.

Keen-eyed shoppers spotted the “dream” crisp flavour had returned to the aisles at the discount German retailer.

Aldi has confirmed it has brought back its Specially Selected Garlic Bread Flavour Crinkle Cut Crisps
One excited customer shared the find earlier today, following their official launch

Sharing the find on Facebook, one elated customer attached a photo of the Specially Selected Garlic Bread Flavour Crinkle Cut Crisps, along with an excited caption.

They said: “Don't walk, sprint to Aldi because these are back for a limited time.

“One of the best crisp flavours ever.”

Aldi itself has also now confirmed the beloved crisps have returned to stores as of March 27, for the bargain price of just £1.15 for the 150g bag.

Fans were quick to share their excitement over the find, with one saying: “Gonna look for them tomorrow.”

Another tagged their friend, adding: “You loved these [and] they are back.”

A third commented: “Yum.”

The retailer said it had been inundated with emails from fans of the unique flavour, begging for its return after it first hit shelves in 2023.

Caving in to the masses, Aldi has brought back the crisps, much to the delight of the flavour's cult following.

The retailer said: “Packed full of flavour, the deliciously moreish crisps boast the taste of smoky garlic, married with the hearty crunch of Aldi’s premium Specially Selected crinkle cut style crisp.”

You'll have to be quick to snap up the crisps, however, as they are only available for a limited time.

Following their launch in July 2023, the crisps mysteriously disappeared from shelves, prompting an uproar from fans.

A post which spotted the crisps' return to stores last year racked up more than 2,000 comments and 900 likes, with many fans being unable to contain their excitement at its return.

One person said: “OMG I wrote an email last month asking for them to bring them back.”

Another added: “They are so nice I was waiting for them to come in again.”

A third commented: “Oh my word.”

One customer even admitted how addictive the crisps were for them, saying: “These are a dangerous purchase as it's so hard to stop eating them.”

How to save money at Aldi

Unlike other major grocers, Aldi does not have a rewards or point card system but that does not mean you cannot save on your shop.

Every week the store releases a list of Specialbuys, which are unique bargain products you can find online at Aldi and in store.

The store releases a fresh range of deals every Thursday and Sunday, so be sure to check regularly to see what's new.

Meanwhile, the store also regularly sells fruit and vegetables at highly discounted prices, as part of its ‘super six’ deal.

It also does weekly saving offers on typically pricey items such as meat and fish.

This comes just weeks after a popular flavour of Walkers crisps returned to shelves after being axed.

Following thereturn of its Worcester Sauce crisps, the snack giant treated customers to a second condiment-inspired flavour.

Tomato Ketchup crisps, which have been absent from supermarkets for the last two years, made their official return on Monday, March 17.

But eagle-eyed fans had already spotted six-packs atIcelanddays before.

These were also accompanied by multipacks of the Worcester Sauce flavoured crisps – which were originally brought back exclusively to a single store in Worcester.

However, after a surge in demand, the company admitted it had made a mistake – and has since rolled out the snacknationwide.
