Savvy shoppers can celebrate the bank holiday weekend with a budget-friendly bunny, available for just 99p.

Aldi's milk chocolate Easter bunny is currently reduced to just 99p but you have to nab it fast

The Specially Selected 100 gram Milk Sitting bunny has previously been compared to the iconic Lindt chocolate bunny.

And while Easter is still weeks away, you need to act fast to nab this deal.

Usually marked at £1.99, the specially selected buy has only been reduced for a few days.

The tasty treat is only available at the discounted price until March 30.

So whether you have a sweet tooth or plan to gift it to someone special, this bunny is well worth the buy.

The official Aldi account shared a picture of the snack on their Facebook page.

“Pictured moments before we demolished the entire thing,” the admin wrote.

The chocolate bunny is available in mil chocolate, white chocolate, and hazelnut chocolate.

Lindt's Milk Chocolate Gold Bunny, which is also 100 grams, is available for £3.50.

And there are more chocolate deals available to satisfy your pre-Easter cravings.

Some Home Bargains shoppers reported finding Cadbury's chocolate buttons for just 89p, but they don't look how you might think.

You can also nab the viral Dubai chocolate bar for 93% less from Home Bargains.

Meanwhile, B&M are currently stocking a rare chocolate selection from Quality Street.

B&M has another rare buy, this time from Nestle, available for just £1.

There are also a variety of Easter egg deals available across UK supermarkets.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.

Shop around – if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.

Aldi shoppers shared their enthusiasm for the chocolate bunnies in the comments section of the Facebook post.

“I'll have a hazelnut one and a milk chocolate one for after,” wrote on customer.

“Oooh white chocolate, will look out for these,” said another commenter.

A third person explained that they will “give all three [flavours] a go”.

“All three, always all three,” agreed another impressed Facebook user.
