CALLING all gonk fans! You may have thought the gnome-like figures were just for Christmas, but it turns out this is not the case.
Aldi is bringing back its Easter-themed gonks which were a sell-out success when they hit the famous middle aisle last year.

The bearded characters will be back as part of the supermarket’s Easter range, and will land in stores from April 3.
Gonk fans can snap up two designs of the classic character, which retails for £9.99.
First up is a fluffy-bearded Gonk with a point hat and extendable legs (up to 129cm).
This sweet plush comes in a range of colours, from lilac, pastel, or forest green.
The second gonk available is an adorable Easter Bunny version complete with a signature carrot and cute bowtie (legs up to 117cm).
If you know relatives who will already have a colossal amount of chocolate (which we totally get), the gonks could be a fun alternative.
As with all of Aldi’s Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone, so you’ll have to be quick to walk away with the viral item.
You'll also be walking away with a bargain, considering Next is selling one for £25.
Gonk craze
Gonks are inspired by gnomes found in Scandinavian and Nordic mythology, and have boomed in popularity in Britain in recent years – especially for Christmas decorations.
Princess Kate’s mum, Carole Middleton, previously revealed that George, Charlotte and Louis are fans of the character.
Carole previously uploaded a photo of some of the festive gonks that her former party supplies business, Party Pieces, was selling one Christmas.
She added in the caption: “I’m going to need a few of these cheeky chaps this December, to hide around the house and make my grandchildren laugh.
“As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can’t be too serious at Christmas!”;

Meanwhile if you are looking to bring some Easter joy to your kitchen, Mrs Hinch showed how to make an easy chocolate wreath for £4.30.
Mrs Hinch – real name Sophie Hinchliffe – helped her boys mix together cornflakes, chocolate, and mini marshmallows.
She helped her sons apply melted white chocolate to the top and then sprinkle on chopped up mini eggs for a spring effect.
