“If you want a whimsical garden you need to run to Aldi,” she said.

“Honestly you should have seen the amount of looks I got trying to get all of this in my basket it was literally overflowing and then in my hands.”

The first item she picked up was some hot air balloons which were solar powered to glisten at night time.

The adorable decorations cost £6.99 each and can be hung from trees or fences.

She also picked up a fairy statue hugging a solar lamp, which was also £6.99.

Next, Lauren said she picked up ‘the cutest lights you've ever seen.'

The flower-shaped lights could be stuck into the grass and were again solar-powered.

She picked up the foxglove and bluebell lights for £39.99 each, but there is also a snowdrop light available in stores.

Last but not least, Lauren bought not one, but three different fairy houses to stick in the bottom of her garden.

“There were three different fairy houses. How could I leave without all of them?” she asked.

She picked up the flower house, tree house and mushroom house for £9.99 each.

“Anyway, my garden's going to look so cute.”

The clip quickly went viral on her TikTok account @laurenjayres with over 181k views and 12k likes.

People were in awe over her garden decorations.

8 must-have plants to brighten up your garden

‘Run to Aldi’ says shopper after nabbing overflowing basket full of decorations for a ‘fairy garden’ your kids will love 2

Nick Hamilton owner of Barnsdale Gardens has shared his favourite plants and flowers you should consider adding to your garden, borders and pots.

Tricyrtis

A spectacular plant that gives a real exotic feel to any garden with its orchid-like, spotted flowers giving the impression that this plant should be tender but it is “as tough as old boots!”;.

Penstemon

I love this plants genus of because most will flower all summer and autumn. They’ll grow in sun or semi-shade in a well drained soil and produce a non-stop display of tubular flowers in an array of colours and colour combination to suit all tastes.

Luzula sylvatica ‘Marginata’

With the evergreen leaves edged with yellow it’s great asset is that it
will grow in sun or shade in any type of soil and is great as groundcover in the hardest spot to fill – dry shade.

Eryngium x zabelii ‘Big Blue’

A stunning, nectar-rich plant that will feed the beneficial insects in your
garden. Leave the flowerheads once they have turned brown because they look stunning with winter frost and snow, extending the plant’s interest period.

Sarcococca hookeriana ‘Winter Gem’

If you need winter scent then look no further than this compact, evergreen shrub. The scent is stunning and the evergreen leaves create an excellent backdrop for the summer flowers.

Cornus sanguinea ‘Anny’s Winter Orange’

A dwarf version of ‘Midwinter Fire’ the very colourful stems create a stunning winter display, particularly on sunny days.

Rosa ‘Noisette Carnee’

A very well-behaved climbing rose that is perfect for training over an arch, pergola or gazebo. The small, “noisette”; flowers are blush-pink and produce the most amazing clove scent constantly from June to November.

Sanguisorba hakusanensis ‘Lilac Squirrel’

I’ve never seen a squirrel with a drooping, shaggy lilac tail, but this variety will give your garden an unusual and different look throughout summer. It does need a moisture retentive soil but will grow in sun or semi-shade.

One person wrote: “We need a whimsical garden tour with all your new features. so cute.”

Another commented: “I don’t even HAVE a garden and I want this.”

“I got the flower lights, they’re so cute!” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Omg I have a fairy garden and need more, I'm running to Aldi.”

“I got the solar fairy light and the bluebell for mine yesterday,”; claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Been to four Aldis for those balloons!”
