Boasting a bargain price tag, the item is part of the supermarket’s new plant range, which lands on April 3.

The plant will bring a touch of Italy to your garden

The affordable retailer has impressed customers with its gorgeous £19.99 citrus plant, and there are three juicy varieties to choose from.

The beautiful plant's fruit bearing branches are sure to brighten up any garden space or balcony.

Green-fingered shoppers can choose between lemon, calamondin or limequat.

The large, yellow lemons will give every garden a burst of sunny Sicilian style.

The lesser known calamondin (sometimes called the Philippine lime or lemon) is a hybrid citrus fruit, a cross between a mandarin orange and a kumquat.

While a limequat is another citrus hybrid, a cross between a key lime and a kumquat.

And the plant doesn't just look good – it will bring a zesty fragrance to your outdoor area.

So if you haven't got a holiday lined up soon, this could be just what you need to bring a touch of Italy to your home.

For under £20, the plant is a real bargain, and it will be hard not to purchase all three varieties.

But those looking to get their hands on one will have to be quick as, like all SpecialBuys, once they're gone they're gone.

Aldi spring 2025 range

Aldi is well-known for its budget-friendly garden range, which lands in-store every spring.

This month, shoppers have been racing to stores to get their hands on another item that instantly transforms homes into a holiday haven.

The item, from the retailer's 2025 spring garden ware collection, can brighten your outdoor space with its whimsical metal design.

They're selling a garden arch for just £29.99, which has integrated ground spikes and is approximately 2 metres high and 1.3 metres wide.

The arch, which has dimensions of 145 x 240 x 38cm, has a perfect design for allowing climbing plants to grow.

Aldi have also released their foldable fire pit, which can be easily transported for impromptu trips and BBQs.

With so many practical and affordable items on sale, guests will feel like they've been transported to another country when they come round for an al fresco dinner.

And you won't need to break the bank to give your garden a glam make over thanks to Aldi‘s affordable pricing.

As the supermarket was voted the UK’s cheapest in 2024, retaining the title it’s held for four consecutive years.
