ALDI is selling a popular baking must-have and it's £216 cheaper than one from Lakeland.

Just in time for Easter

Bargain-hunting foodies are in for a treat as Aldi is set to drop the must-have kitchen gadget that’s a whopping £216 cheaper than a similar version from Lakeland.

Lakeland's 6.5L Digital Stand Mixer can cost you up to £249.99 – but Aldi has a dupe that is cooking up excitement.

Aldi’s returningClassic Stand Mixer is being scanned for £34.99 and is a must-have for any kitchen.

With head-turning good looks and the performance to match, it brings a stylish, modern aesthetic to any kitchen and gives it a premium feel to rival more expensive mixers (at a fraction of the price).

Available in stunning pastel green or blue, it has a 800W power, eight speed levels and whopping 5 litre capacity.

With its high-quality die-cast aluminium body, this beautifully made stand mixer is in it for the long haul.

From the heaviest of doughs to the lightest and fluffiest cake mixtures, bakers can mix, beat and knead their way to a delicious spread or create Easter showstoppers.

Complete with a dough hook, flat beater, whisk, and handy splash guard, it’s up to any job and all dishwasher safe.

It comes with a simple to use LED digital touchscreen and a non-slip base for stability.

HOW TO SAVE MONEY AT ALDI

Aldi doesn't have a membership program or a points system that offers deals on specific items like some othersupermarketsdo.

Aldi's Kitchen Revolution: Affordable Innovation

Aldi Specialbuy is their program that features a range of new deals that are released each week, with the upcoming kitchen range Specialbuys set to arrive on March 2.

These Specialbuys often include a variety of seasonal items and limited-time offers, making them highly anticipated by regular shoppers.

These deals are exclusive to Aldi, meaning you won't find them anywhere else.

What's more is they can be found both on Aldi's official website and in-store.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi's 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you're quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store's times by using the supermarket's online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi's weekly collection of items that it doesn't normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store's opening time.

Remember: once they're gone, they're gone, so if there's something you really want, visit as early as possible
