Bargain supermarket chain reveals new ‘irresistible’ Easter party treats scanning at tills from just 99p today

ALDI fans better race down to their local stores today, as the budget retailer has launched a range of tasty Easter treats, with prices starting at just 99p.

With the just around the corner, many of us are likely on to satiate hungry garden party guests.

And although the kids are likely to be stuffing their faces with and Easter cakes, not everyone has a sweet tooth.

For those who prefer a savoury snack, but don't want to feel left out during Easter celebrations, is launching the perfect range of spring treats today (April 14th).

Prices for the savoury treats start at just 99p, and are shaped in adorable Easter designs, such as bunnies and chicks.

If you fancy spicing up your Easter, the supermarket's range of bao buns will give your bank holiday weekend an Asian twist.

Priced at just £2.99 for a 160g packet, the buns come in three different designs, chick, bunny and hot cross bun.

The chick buns offer a sweet and sour flavour, whilst the bunny buns contain succulent prawns.

And the hot cross bun product is bound to tantalise taste buds with its unami hoisin sauce flavour.

And for those looking for more of a cheesy treat, the Emporium Easter Cheese Truckles are priced at just 99p.

Aldi said: “Available in an array of exciting flavours to satisfy every tastebud, shoppers can choose from the mild, herby Double Gloucester with Onion & Chive, the bold and intense Smoky Cheddar, the sweet and tangy Wensleydale with Cranberry, the spicy Red Leicester with Chilli and the flavourful caramelised onion.”

And the savoury snacks aren't the only alternative Easter snacks Aldi is flogging this April.

The budget supermarket chain has launched an , and it's over £5 cheaper than M&S' version.

The adorable bunny branded tin comes packed with jelly bunnies, fruity flower gummies,popcorn and crunchy pretzels, all of which are bound to keep the kids happy over the Easter weekend.

It is priced at just £5.99 and is perfect for gifting friends and relatives who deserve a well-earned treat.

And for those on the hunt for some healthy veg to make a tasty Easter roast, this week.

From April 15 to 19, or April 20 across Scottish branches, Aldi customers can get their hands on two kilos of potatoes for 15p.

One kilo bag of carrots, broccoli, 100gonions and loose garlic will also be 15p over the four-day window.

Shoppers can also pick up cucumbers for 59p each.

It's worth keeping an eye out ahead of Easter to see if any other retailers announce price cuts to their veggies.

Rival is also set to on a host of veggies this week, and popular staple items such as, spuds and green beans.

Meanwhile, some retailers may cut the price of other Easter Sunday essentials like lamb.
