Set to air on BBC One, The Inner Circle will see Amanda be joined by contestants trying to get their hands on a cash prize by competing in a series of rounds designed to test their general knowledge and strategic thinking.

In the new photos, Amanda teased a glimpse at what's to come, donning a purple suit to stand behind a podium.

Focusing on her nails, Amanda looked like she meant business as she stood in the Glasgow studio, which is decorated with circular screens and matching dark stages.

The star later gave a better look at the studio from inside the editing room, showing the contestants will all be stood in a circle behind their own podiums, similar to The Weakest Link.

Across each episode, contestants will be tested not just on what they know, but which of their fellow players they can trust, joining forces with them to get through rounds and get closer to the cash.

But in a gripping finale, could each of the final two face the ultimate betrayal?

The show has already been slated for 25 episodes that will air in a daytime teatime slot, in a bid to rival ITV juggernaut, The Chase.

There will also be six celebrity specials, which will every on Saturday nights, with famous faces teaming up with a member of the public.

On the official announcement, Amanda said: “I'm so excited to be part of this thrilling new quiz that challenges contestants and entertains viewers in equal measure.

“It's a fantastic opportunity to bring something fresh and fabulous to weekday afternoons and Saturday night TV, and I can't wait to see the audience reactions!”;
