The goods are sold at , allowing shoppers to pick up items at a fraction of the price.

The deals available can be found on a dedicated homepage through the main Amazon site.

Resale says it “checks the quality of each item” and the condition of everything listed is ranked as “very good”, “like new”, “good”, or “acceptable”.

Bear in mind that the items available are limited to what's been returned, so if there's a particular product you're looking for you'll need to monitor the site.

But once you find your item the order will be fulfilled by Amazon, so it will be eligible for delivery.

And, Amazon Resale has the same returns policy as the regular site, although it may not be able to offer like-for-like replacements.

There are other ways to save money at Amazon including the Amazon Outlet, which is essentially a site compiling the .

Unlike renewed, all items are new — but have had prices slashed to help shift stock.

Prices across Amazon do change regularly so it's worth keeping watch to see if the amounts being charged for goods on your wish list fall.

To do this you can use , which will notify you by email when the cost of an item you want is slashed.

The same website also features a price history of millions of items so you can check if you are getting a good deal.

It's also important to remember that you can't assume that Amazon offers the best prices.

Shopping comparison sites such as pricerunner.com and kelkoo.co.uk will help show the cheapest items all over the internet.
