Amorim to sell four Man Utd players

Published on March 24, 2025 at 07:44 AM

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has decided to sell four of his players as he prepares for a summer clear-out.

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are all expected to be sold after being sent out on loan to Aston Villa, Real Betis and PSV, respectively during the January transfer window.

According to The Sun, Amorim is ready to offload all the three loanees and is also set to sell inconsistent goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Recall that Onana joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan in 2023 having just helped the Serie A side reach the Champions League final.

Unfortunately, the Cameroonian international was unable to win the Champions League as Inter lost to Manchester City in the final.

Onana was viewed as one of the best ball-playing goalkeepers in the world but has underwhelmed at Man United and received plenty of criticism.

It's claimed clubs in Saudi Arabia have expressed interest in signing the 28-year-old former Ajax shot-stopper.

The report added that Amorim's side are reportedly looking m at Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens and Lille’s Lucas Chevalier as Onana's possible replacement at Old Trafford.

Lammens and Chevalier have been linked with Man United's Premier League rivals Manchester City, who are planning for life after Ederson following the Brazilian’s struggles this season.
