The incident reportedly unfolded during a rest day from filming, when Dan is said to have shouted at social media stars and twins Luke and Scott O’Halloran.

Ant, who was in 2021, was not directly involved but both brothers were disqualified and removed from the show.

It’s believed fellow contestant and Australian reality TV star confronted Dan over the incident and told producers he and his daughter Leni would leave if action wasn’t taken.

TV bosses responded by swiftly removing the Middleton brothers, with their footage now under review during post-production.

It remains unclear how much, if any, of their participation will makie it into the final cut.

In a statement, Network 10 said: “Network 10 takes the health, safety and well-being of all contestants seriously.

“Following a breach of the production’s code of conduct by one contestant, on a day off during production, a team from The Amazing Race Australia was disqualified and swiftly sent home.”;

The show, featuring 13 celebrity teams competing for a $100,000 charity prize, is set to air on the channel later this year.

The Sun has contacted representatives for Ant for comment.

Ant spent years fighting for his country during his military career in the Marines and the Paras.

He was chief instructor on SAS: Who Dares Wins before he was saced after a series of blunders.

One included a tweet about the Black Lives Matter movement.

There was a social media backlash in June 2020 after Ant posted a video of violence at anti-racism protests in London.

He tweeted: “The extreme left against the extreme right.

“BLM and EDL are not welcome on our streets, absolute scum.

“What a great example you are to your future generation. Bravo.”;

The same month, set out a “new and clear commitment”; to being an anti-racist organisation and said Ant’s tweet “in no way represent the views of Channel 4”;.

Reports also circulated he had been fired after female crew members raised concerns regarding “inappropriate comments”; he had made.

He denied any knowledge of making such comments.

Discussing what happened for him to lose his job, he told The James Smith podcast: “Witch hunt? I never thought that existed until the latest shenanigans with SAS UK.

“Ultimately people can see through it and know I was pushed before I could jump.”;

Speaking about the BLM tweet, Ant also defended himself at the time, telling The Sun: “If you have half a brain cell you will realise what I was talking about.

“It was the protesters fighting and violence and rioting in broad daylight. Everything I fought for abroad to stop happening on our shores.”;

Ant then left the UK to live in , heading off to Australia to do a foreign format of Who Dares Wins.

He told The Sun his move to Dubai has given a better life.

He said: “The children are safer in Dubai with what’s going on in the UK at the moment with knife and gun crime and muggings.

“It’s cleaner, the education is good, there’s loads of opportunity here, so it was a no brainer.”;

The Sun revealed after business debts worth £1.2 million left him facing bankruptcy.
