ARGENTINA fans in Qatar have performed sickening racist and transphobic chants towards Kylian Mbappe and the France national team.

The supporters were being interviewed for a TV segment after arriving early for the tournament in the Middle East.

Argentina fans were asked to perform a chant
The reporter had to abruptly stop the segment

A reporter from TyC Sports – an Argentine based sports channel – asked them to perform a chant for the cameras... before things went badly wrong.

Despite not even being in the same group as the French, the group of supporters gleefully aimed hideous abuse at Les Bleus.

The Argentine fans performed a vile chant in which they claimed French players to be “all from Angola”;.

One player in the French squad, Eduardo Camavinga, was born in the African country – before moving to France at the age of two.

Les Bleus’ mix of heritage has been targeted by rival fans before, despite being celebrated back home – with their victorious 1998 squad being affectionately dubbed “Black Blanc Beur”; – meaning “Black, White, Arab”;.

The Argentine fans also targeted French star Mbappe with a transphobic chant.

Their disgusting song sought to target the PSG striker regarding rumours surrounding his dating life.

During the chant, TyC Sports’ embarrassed reporter had to quickly get the fans to stop.

France and Argentina could play each other in the round of 16 in Qatar.

They met at that stage last time out at Russia 2018, with two-goal Mbappe starring in his side’s thrilling 4-3 win.

This time around France have been drawn in Group D alongside Australia, Denmark and Tunisia.

Argentina, meanwhile, are in Group C alongside Saudi Arabia, Poland and Mexico.
