Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead is generating quite the buzz. This genre-bending combo of heist and zombie film has piqued the interest of many viewers. Netflix will release the film on May 21, which comes one week after its theatrical debut.
In Army of the Dead, the city of Las Vegas has become overrun by the undead, and casino owner Tanaka (Hiroyuki Sanada) has hired a group of mercenaries who are lead by Scott Ward (Dave Bautista) to break into the casino and retrieve a huge sum of cash. But these aren’t your ordinary slow movie zombies; this enormous herd is well organized and has somehow retained some of their brainpower.
The film’s cast is rounded out by Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi and Garret Dillahunt.

The official trailer cleverly uses Kenny Rogers’ song “The Gambler” as its soundtrack and is sure to get you pumped for this movie.
