Aubameyang was hooked straight after Gabriel Magalhaes turned in Bukayo Saka’s corner for the only goal of the game.

Aubameyang was then spotted sitting on the bench looking miserable.

The 33-year-old folded his arms and stared straight ahead after being subbed off by boss Graham Potter.

Before the game Aubameyang had declared: “Arsenal, nothing personal. I’m back. I’m blue. I’m ready. Let’s go.”;

And Arsenal fans were quick to throw the comment back in Aubameyang’s face following the full-time whistle.

One wrote on Twitter: “@Auba it’s football, nothing personal...”;

Another said: “Nothing personal. Still top of the league!”;

And a third chimed: “Nothing personal indeed @Auba.”;

Chelsea on the other hand dropped down to seventh.

And the problem for Potter was nobody appeared surprised by the fact his side were completely played off the park.
