SHOPPERS are rushing to fill their trolleys with a mouthwatering ready meal main dish for just 20p.

Asda is running a promotion that will save customers .

One savvy shopper spotted the discount at one of the petrol station stores and shared the discovery on a couponing page.

Asda's Bom Bahia Tandoori Smoked Butter Chicken main dish usually sets revellers back £5.23 put is now selling for pocket change.

The packaged features tender flame-grilled chicken in a rich and creamy tomato butter sauce and spiced with cumin, clove and nutmeg.

It has attracted rave reviews from shoppers too, with customers slapping an average rating of four and a half out of five for the tasty offering.

“This is the best Indian ready meal I've ever tasted,” one wrote.

A second added: “Amazing flavours, was extremely delicious and not too hot.”

A third chimed in: “Really nice, restaurant standard.”

How to save money at Asda

It's worth signing up to the Asda Rewards scheme to save money at the supermarket.

The loyalty scheme, which is free to join, lets you earn Cashpot points by completing “missions” like hitting spending targets or buying products in certain categories.

You can also earn cashback by buying “star” products.

If you're a regular shopper and often go for Asda'smore premium lines, it's worth taking on the “downshifting” challenge too.
