The daughter of the founder of Living Faith Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has recalled how assassins stormed their home in Lagos during her secondary school years but missed killing her father.
Oyedepo’s daughter, Love Ogah gave this account during a sermon, narrating that a group of hired assassins stormed her father's house with a mission to kill Bishop Oyedepo.
She said, the hired killers openly announced reasons that brought them to the residence of the popular preacher, while they ransacked every part of the house.
According to her, the assassins conducted searches for hours without locating her father, which left them in disbelief and shock as they watched them looking for Oyedepo freely.
“The assassins came and said they came to kill my father. They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him,”; she narrated.
“After they left, my father came out and said he saw them the whole time — they just couldn’t see him. All of us were looking like it was a film trick.”;
The daughter said her father later explained to them he was in the house, but the assassins were supernaturally blinded and couldn’t see, while he watched them throughout the time they were looking for him.
