Bandits abduct passengers on Malumfashi–Funtua road in Katsina

Armed bandits on Saturday night abducted all the passengers traveling in a vehicle along the Malumfashi–Funtua road in Katsina State.

The incident, which reportedly occurred near the outskirts of Burdugau community, was revealed in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his X handle on Sunday.

“Last night, bandits from the Burdugau outskirts area intercepted vehicle along the Malumfashi–Funtua road in Katsina State, and abducted all its passengers,”; he wrote.

However, the exact number of victims remains unconfirmed.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
