A Police Constable, Nura Ibrahim (F/No 545490), who is serving at the Danmusa Division in Katsina State, has been abducted by armed men suspected to be bandits near Yantumaki Forest.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening along the Danmusa–Yantumaki road, when the assailants intercepted a Navy Blue Golf vehicle with registration number DMS 238, in which the officer was traveling alongside two other civilians.

According to local sources, the bandits ambushed the vehicle and forcibly led all three occupants, including the police constable, into the forest.

Security authorities have since launched a joint search and rescue operation, while the abandoned vehicle was recovered and taken to the Yantumaki Outpost.
