Armed bandits on Monday stormed Tungar Dada community in the Moriki District of Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing one resident and abducting over 50 locals.
DAILY POST gathered that the operation occurred around 3:30 a.m., with the bandits shooting sporadically at unsuspecting villagers before herding dozens away to an unknown location.
All efforts to get a comment from the State Police Command's spokesman, DSP Yazeed Abubakar, proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
