You could have your OWN Batmobile for a whopping £200k as authentic vehicle is up for sale – but parking may be an issue

YOU could become the proud owner of your own Batmobile after an authentic model was put up for sale.

But attached is a hefty £200,000 price tag – and parking is likely to be an issue as well.

The 20ft-long supercar is licensed by Warner Bros as official kit.

It was built for the Batman exhibition and stunt show at Great Adventure.

By way of verification, it is and is signed by the original Batmobile manufacturers Chris Dixon and Steve Mank of Wounded Knee Motors in Toledo, Ohio.

It is a strikingly-accurate replica of the iconic Batmobile from the 1989 movie Batman, which starred Michael Keaton starring in the lead role.

The sleek motor is finished in a sculpted gloss black fiberglass body and stretches nearly 20 feet in length.

Pictures of the interior reveal a cockpit-style cabin with a jet-inspired sliding canopy.

It also boasts custom leather seats and control panels crammed with buttons, switches, lights, and levers.

Other features include an authentic British Harrier jet intake and a rear flame thrower that simulates an afterburner effect.

A custom Batman logo is adorns the steering wheel and there is a special Wounded Knee Motors badge set behind the driver's seat.

Under the bonnet, the Batmobile houses a 350 CI small block V-8 engine paired with an automatic transmission, complete with a Lightening Rod-style shifter.

Built by Productions this super-hero car is set to go under the hammer at Mecum on Saturday, May 17.

The listing states: “Officially licensed Warner Bros. vehicle for the Batman exhibition/stunt show at Six Flags Great Adventure.

“Serial no. 1 built by Hollywood Productions.

“Extended Chevrolet Impala chassis, nearly 20 feet long.

With its true-to-film detailing, dramatic presence and legendary status, this Batmobile Replica is set to attract serious bidders looking to bring a piece of Gotham home.
