WALKING with Dinosaurs is stomping back to screens and has confirmed its comeback with a new high profile narrator – almost a quarter of a century on from its premiere.
The long-awaited upcoming BBC One and iPlayer series has dropped its first trailer and given fans a glimpse into the mind-blowing prehistoric world.
One of the BBC’s most beloved factual shows, Walking withhas been revived for the brand new six-part series.
Voiced by award-winning actor Bertie Carvel, the captivating 60 second trailer teases the impressive landscapes, from the mountainous forests in Alberta to the red rock canyons of Utah.
The double Olivier and Tony award-winning star will lend his vocals to bring to life each episode and guide viewers through the dramatic stories of six individual dinosaurs.
These include a Spinosaurus – the largest carnivorous dinosaur to ever walk the earth – roaming the rivers of ancient Morocco; a youthful Triceratops battling a ravenous T. rex in North America; and a lonely giant Lusotitan risking it all for a love in Portugal.

Walking with Dinosaurs originally aired in 1999. The six-part nature aired on the BBC with narration from Sir Kenneth Branagh.
Inspired by the Jurassic Park, the programme combined CGI and animatronics with live action footage to recreate extinct species.
The show's success spawned follow-ups including Walking with Beasts, Walking with Cavemen and Walking with Monsters
