Scary moment snooker fan collapses live on BBC during World Championship coverage

A SNOOKER fan collapsed at the Crucible ahead of Ronnie O’Sullivan’s quarter-final.

One fan took ill and collapsed live on TV.

The individual was watching on in the Winter Gardens as BBC presenter Abigail Davis interviewed two female players – Daisy May Oliver and Hannah Jones.

Cameras caught the moment the spectator fell ill, collapsing in a crowd of other snooker fans.

BBC host Hazel Irvine later shared an update confirming the fan was feeling better after receiving a glass of water.

She said: “A gentleman feinted, he’s absolutely fine.

“Just a wee bit dehydrated. He’s now been given a very large glass of water and an ice cream.

“Everything is A-OK.”;

The incident occurred before the third and fourth quarter-finals took place.
