Nigeria forward, Tolu Arokodare is looking forward to making his 100th appearance for Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk, DAILY POST reports.

The Smurfs will be away to Anderlecht in a championship playoff tie at the Lotto Park, Brussel on Sunday night (today).

Arokodare, barring any unforeseen circumstances will lead Genk's attack in the game.

“Who would have thought? When I signed here, I had hoped to reach 100. It wasn’t always easy, either.

“There was an opportunity for departure this season, but I am very happy that I stayed and can play under this coach. He has made me much better,”; he said in an interview with HLN.

The 24-year-old linked up with Genk from French outfit, Amiens SC in 2022.

He has scored 37 goals and provided 12 assists in 99 appearances across all competitions for Thorsten Fink's side.
