PROMOTER Ben Shalom has suggested the contract dispute between Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron has been resolved.
The pair rematch on Easter Sunday in Birmingham after their initial bout in

Both boxers went over the top rope after five completed rounds –
But more drama struck when it was revealed Cameron – opposed to ten.
He refused to budge and Shalom revealed the same contract template for other 12 round fights had wrongly been issued.
But he appeared to say that Cameron has accepted the revised terms –
Shalom told The Stomping Ground: “Someone in the office has obviously made a little mistake it happens, an expensive one for me but it happens.
“But it was notified almost straight away and then it just dragged on and then it was this and then it was that.
“I think we were close and then there was an interview done. But last week after that we sort of agreed to what they wanted and it will be a ten-round fight.”
Financial compensation was the likely way of resolving the contractual dispute – but Shalom said the controversy has made the fight bigger.
He said: “These things do happen sometimes. Humans can make mistake in an office and usually it can get resolved quite quickly.
“But this one… Liam's got bigger pockets and I've got smaller pockets. But it is what it is.
“And to be fair it's nothing to do with the fighters. We've got a great fight on our hands and if anything it's probably made it a little bit bigger.”
But despite Shalom's comments, Cameron posted on Instagram: “To my knowledge it's a 12 round fight no agreement for it to be changed to 10 has been signed.”
