Talks are underway to bring the show back after it was axed

And Loose Women , who appeared in the comedy as Scary Mary, has made it clear she wants in on the new episodes.

TV presenter took to social media to share his excitment after the potential comeback was revealed.

He shared a snap of the actors who played The Garvey family on the show and called them “supreme”.

Rylan was responding to a fan who insisted the reboot would “only be worth watching” if the characters returned.

And Denise was quick to reply: “What about Scary Mary?”

A source today told Flying Eze: “Benidorm was adored by millions when it was suddenly cancelled. Fans will be thrilled to hearITVwants to bring it back.

“An 11th series hasn’t been commissioned yet, but there’s major excitement building as early talks begin.”

“Producers have started to reach out to the show’s stars and are hopeful a decision can be made later this year.”;

Show creator Derren Litten previously blasted ITV's decision to axe Benidorm when it won a TV Choice award two months after getting the chop.

He told the audience: “This is a bit awkward, the show’s just been cancelled.”;

Derren added sarcastically: “I’ve huge respect for ITV — a show that’s getting five and a half million viewers and still picking up awards, but they’ve cancelled it. That takes balls.”;
