BRITAIN'S Got Talent judge Simon Cowell has left viewers scratching their heads after blasting an act – even though he previously backed them.
kicked off on Saturday night by slamming dinosaur-themed rock band, Heavysaurus.


The animated group kicked off proceedings with a mix of Guns N' Roses and The Darkness songs – but Simon was less than impressed with their cover.
Cowell bluntly critiqued: “Maybe I was just in a really good mood on the auditions.
“I'm surprised we started the live shows with an act who are really, really not gonna win the show.”
Berating the band, he later told presenters Ant and Dec: “I know this sounds stupid… it was like doing karaoke, which I know that's what it was, but it was just very… weak.”
Fans ranted: “Then why the f**k did you put them in the semi, Simon? To fill it with s**t for your own act… d***head move.”
A second flagged: “Simon, who put them there? Oh yes, the judges!”
A third praised: “Obsessed with Simon's cruelty tonight. THIS is the we know and love.”
“It’s about time we had the old Simon back,” applauded another viewer.
Despite the slump, the show started with a bang and saw , whoplays the iconicin the musicalTina, give a stellar performance.
The singer is one third of girl group Stooshe – who shot to fame in 2012.
Elsewhere, confirmed that this year's stand-in judge,KSI, would be featured on the panel later in the run.
KSI originally stood in for during some of the audition stages.
