Britain’s Got Talent fans rage ‘I’m sick of it!’ as ‘copycat’ act gets through after ‘already being famous’

BRITAIN'S Got Talent fans have moaned about the amount of dance troupes that have appeared on the talent show.

The latest round of complaints come after Italian group, Ping Pong Pang Crew, kicked off Saturday's show.

Self-described as the “world’s first ping pong dance revolution,” the dance troupe previously received two Golden Buzzer and made it through to the finals in their homeland of Italy's Got Talent.

But they've now travelled to the UK to try their hand at winning Britain's Got Talent.

In their premiere performance on the ITV talent show, the crew showed off their hip hop dance moves in matching bomber jackets.

They incorporated ping pong paddles and balls into their intricate dance routine as the studio audience jumped up to their feet and cheered them on.

At one point a dancer even shot a ping pong ball from his mouth across the stage as another dancer caught it in his mouth.

Despite the enthusiasm from the audience and positive feedback of the judges, some people watching at home were fuming at seeing another big dance troupe on stage.

Some viewers even compared the Ping Pong Pang Crew to dance group, Diversity, who won Britain's Got Talent in 2009.

“Diversity with Table Tennis bats and a Freddie Mercury tribute act, wooo top talent tonight,” wrote one person on X, formerly Twitter, also referring to singer Sunderland-singer Mickey Callisto who followed the dance troupe and performed a Queen song.

“It's like Diversity if the dance troupe decided to do something completely different this time around,” added a second person.

And a third commented: “Another dance act, I'm sick of it!“

Also on Saturday's show, judge Simon Cowell broke show rules when he used another judge's Golden Buzzer after running out of his own for the season.

Simon leaned over Amanda Holden to award the coveted gong to Electric Umbrella, a band made up of musicians with learning disabilities who performed an original song about acceptance and understanding.
