A SAVVY woman has given her hallway the ultimate makeover, without breaking the bank.

So if you’re on a budget and can’t afford to splash too much cash, but want to give your home an epic overhaul, then you’ve come to the right place.

Thanks to secondhand buys and auction finds, DIY fan Adele Collins was able to turn her hallway from drab to fab without burning a hole in her pocket.

Thrilled with her hallway’s transformation, Adele took to social media to show others, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Adele shared a before and after look inside her home.

What was once a very dated entrance, with yellow walls and brown carpet, has since been given a jaw-dropping overhaul.

Now, Adele’s hallway is totally unrecognisable, with trendy tiles and fresh white and navy walls.

Not only does it look fabulous, but Adele revealed that she was able to cut costs by getting bargains from little-known places.

Rather than going to B&M or Ikea, Adele swore by nabbing secondhand buys, as well as visiting auctions to find the best bargains.

Alongside the post, Adele wrote: “So pleased with the transformation in my hallway.”;

She then confirmed: “Floor tiles obtained from a local selling site for £20, just needed to order a few more online.

“Radiator secondhand for £100. Glass table from local auction for £80.

“The paint colours are both Valspar from B&Q.

“The table I purchased sometime back from Hodes, Rhodes, and Dickson Auction House.”;

Adele then continued: “Kept doors to cut costs and just changed door handles.”;

Thrilled with her hallway’s fresh feel, she later beamed: “Love the overall finish.”;
