Nathan Tella believes Bayer Leverkusen can still retain their Bundesliga title at the end of the season.
Xabi Alonso's side are currently six points behind leaders, Bayer Munich with five matches left to play.
Tella declared that they must not give up on their title aspiration.
“A six-point gap isn't much in football,” he said. “It's up to us; we want to win as many games as possible and get to the top,” the Nigeria international told German publication BILD.
The 25-year-old has scored twice in 22 league appearances for Die Werkself this season.
Bayer Leverkusen will be away to St. Pauli in their next league on Sunday.
