THREE people have been injured after a double decker bus crashed outside a London tourist hotspot.

Emergency services rushed to the crash site near St Paul's Cathedral in the heart of the city at around 2.30pm today.

Video footage shared online shows the giant bus crushed against a flower bed outside a Co-op supermarket next to the popular tourist attraction.

Three people were treated by the ambulance service at the crash site, with one even being taken to hospital.

The crash also sparked traffic chaos as the road briefly closed, sending drivers on diversion, according to the AA.

Chief Inspector James Minney, City of London Police, said: “City of London Police officers were at the scene of a road traffic collision on 24 March 2025 at around 2:26pm on Cheapside.

“Three people were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service; one person was taken to hospital.

“The road heading northbound reopened at 3:30pm.
