Multiple people injured as car smashes into crowd near Queen Louise’s Bridge in central Copenhagen

MULTIPLE people have been left injured after a car smashed into a crowd in Copenhagen.

An elderly man is believed to have lost control behind the wheel and crashed into walkers near to Queen Louise’s Bridge, the Danish capital’s emergency services said.

Police said at least five people were known to have been involved in the collision.

Horrified witness Henny Christiansen said: “The car drove into these table and bench sets in front of the store, and they fly into the air, and people scream.”;
