BMW bursts into flames at Asda car wash as firefighters tackle blaze

A CAR has burst into flames at an Asda car wash as shocked onlookers watched in horror.

The blaze was sparked at around 8.30am at the supermarket branch in Eastleigh, .

Dramatic pictures of the scorched show the wreck abandoned outside the entrance to the IMO car wash.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the bonnet fire ball as concerned shoppers looked on.

Paper towels have been placed around the burnt out vehicle by staff to soak up diesel.

The car wash is now back open and serving customers as normal.

This comes after we reported two major road closures due to crashes this morning.
