People says that former The Bachelor contestant Cassie Randolph has spoken about her ex, former Bachelor Colton Underwood, coming out as gay. Or did she? Because Cassie didn’t really say shit-all. Maybe she’s saving it for an emotionally charged and financially-monetized YouTube video? I mean she’s an influencer. How could she not?
Colton came out to Robin Roberts on Good Morning America last week. The response was mixed since Colton doesn’t exactly have the greatest reputation. Colton ended up picking Cassie during the finale of his Bachelor season in 2019 but he did not propose. They dated for about a year before breaking up. And then things got abusive when Colton stalked Cassie including hanging around in the back alley behind her bedroom late at night, showing up to her parents’ house, sending her harrassing texts, and putting a tracking device on her car. Cassie took out a restraining order against Colton last year. She dropped the restraining order in November 2020 and asked the police to also drop the stalker investigation against Colton. In his interview with Robin Roberts, Colton briefly mentioned the stalking allegations, saying he apologized for “how things ended” and that he “made a lot of bad choices.”
Shortly after Colton’s coming out, Cassie didn’t specifically address him but did post an Instagram Story where she thanked “everyone for all the kind comments and messages… It means so much.” Cassie’s latest comment is pretty much the same. In a YouTube video about her new home (which she doesn’t have to worry about Colton visiting unannounced since he’s busy with other things), she only said that there’s a lot of layers to the story and she’s going to keep quiet about it for now:
In a vlog on her YouTube channel posted Thursday, the 25-year-old said that she appreciated her followers’ kind words following “the topic in the media that brought [her] name up” recently, but she isn’t ready to speak more on the matter yet.
“I just wanted to let you know that I’m not gonna be further discussing it or commenting on it for now,” she added. “There’s a lot of layers to it, and I just think the best thing for me at this time is to move forward and just focus on going forward.”
Here’s Cassie’s YouTube video, she talks about Colton at the beginning:
Cassie’s smart. As a YouTuber, she needs to stretch this shit out in several videos. Get that YouTube ad money, Cassie! And you know Colton is trying to get Cassie to make an appearance on his Netflix coming out reality show because it’d bring him lots of attention and the craving for attention runs through his veins. There’s no way she’d do it, but I would love to see her rolling her eyes at almost everything he says to her
