And it’s hoped that her stint on the BBC One show will be the perfect launch pad for her second album.
A telly source said: “The Beeb have signed up loads of older showbiz stars but they haven’t got many youngsters and that’s where Cat comes in.
“She will add some youth to the show and will be very familiar to the generation.
“She is very intelligent and can be quiet sometimes but she won’t be afraid to speak her mind when the time is right.
“Cat is the ultimate Traitors superfan too, and she has been lobbying for this gig as soon as she found out the BBC were doing a celebrity spin-off.
