Celebre D’Allen dies two days after collapsing on track at Grand National as statement is released

GRAND NATIONAL horse Celebre D'Allen has died after collapsing on the track.

The horse was pulled up after the final fence of the historic Aintree race on Saturday.

He was kept at the racecourse to be treated.

But his joint-trainer confirmed the sad news that the horse could not recover.

Johnson White said: “He had the best possible care, but he just took a downturn overnight and very sadly he’s passed away.”
