CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are convinced a big show rule has secretly been broken.

A key part of the reality series' premise is for contestants to be kept in the dark from happenings in the real world during their time in the house.

One wrote on Reddit: “I can only imagine it's been set up for some time and is something they were aware of prior to going in – but it did strike me as very odd when they mentioned it.”

Another said: “It was all over the news days before they went up, so understandable why he mentioned it.”
