Celebrity Big Brother hit with Ofcom complaints from furious fans after ‘inappropriate behaviour’ row on launch night

CELEBRITY Big Brother has been hit with a slew of Ofcom complaints with angry fans citing “inappropriate behaviour.”

Viewers of the ITV reality series had vowed to contact the broadcasting watchdog after from “creepy Mickey Rourke.”

His leering behaviour sparked 89 official messages to Ofcom

They called out a moment on which saw anchorAJ, 37, in an awkward encounter with, 72, when he twirled her around on the stage and said “nice outfit” before pulling her towards him.

When Mickey continued to ogle AJ, she raised her voice slightly and said: “Stop looking at me… it's time for you to get inside the house!”

The moment promoted many fans to take to X in an angry frenzy, with one posting: “@Ofcom you need to investigate This kind of Behaviour from Any Celebrity.”

They added: “Get Michael Rourke Removed from the CBB House for Inappropriately Touchy Behaviour Towards AJ Odudu.”

Now Ofcom has told how 89 complaints about CBB's opening 2025 episode had been submitted.

FAN FURY

At the time, one fan took to X to write: “Oh god! I have a horrible feeling #MickeyRourke is going to be one of three types of housemate. The weird one, the creepy one, or the nutty one. Probably all of the above!”

One then said: “Okay Mickey was very creepy with AJ.”

Another demanded: “Get Mickey out.”

One commented: “Mickey's getting kicked out.”

Fans also noticed Will's intervention, with one writing: “It was so uncomfortable watching him harass AJ on live TV.

“I liked how Will Best protected AJ throughout that segment.”

Their comments came after fears Mickey would “cancel himself” due to his antics.

He was recentlyseen on his final night outbefore being holed up in the ITV compound.

BIZARRE MOMENT

Talking to comedian Alan about Mickey's comment, AJ later addressed the bizarre moment.

The Chatty Man host said: “Can we talk about Mickey Rourke looking at you? Wow his eyes.

“Find someone who looks at you the way Mickey looks at you [AJ]. His tongue was hanging out.”

AJ replied: “It literally was. I was like ‘You can't afford these feathers Mickey, no'.”

Arriving in the compound, the actor – who won a Bafta for his role in the acclaimed 2008 film The Wrestler – was greeted by housemates doing a massive conga.
