But since departing the Big Brother house almost a decade ago, Brandi has had a tough time with her health.
In December 2024, the star revealed the toll her health had taken when she shared concerning selfie.
Brandi, 52, revealed a couple of years ago that she had been diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, which she claimed stemmed from filming .
According to the NHS, angioedema is where a part of the body “suddenly becomes swollen”.
The health provider states that the person suffering from the condition will usually have a “raised, itchy rash (hives) if an allergic reaction has caused the swelling”.
But it is also stated that in cases of idiopathic angioedema, “certain triggers may lead to swelling, such as anxiety or stress”.
Losing five teeth and health woes
Speaking to Flying Eze's sister site The U.S. Sun last December, Brandi revealed how her health battles began with stress induced angioedema.
She shared how the condition caused her face to swell up and affect her teeth, leading to them “shifting”.
“I'm not quite back to normal yet,” she told us.
“People keep asking me if I've lost weight, and I haven't, I've actually gained weight, but I've lost teeth.
“I lost five teeth out of my head, so my face has been looking really thin,” she explained.
The reality star, who lost her TV gig with Bravo after a series of events that included her being accused of sexual abuse by a fellow cast member, claims which she has adamantly denied, said the stress from it all triggered her illnesses.
Continuing to speak about the angioedema she was suffering from, Brandi said: “When your face swells up and goes down and swells up and goes down, your teeth move, and I had a bridge that was very, very old, and unbeknownst to me there was an infected tooth underneath that.”
She went on: “I'm honestly not thankful I had a stress-induced angioedema, but had it not been for that, that tooth could have done a lot more damage than it did.
“So we had to take the bridge off because my teeth were like, there. Spacing out and moving, and that's when we found that there was a broken tooth that had been under there for God knows how long.
“When we pulled that one, we realised we had to pull two more. So now I'm missing five teeth.”
Brandi's concerning selfies
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, last December, Brandi didn't mention her health condition, but captioned a photo of herself “sick it”.
Fans immediately flooded her with support, with one saying: “You are still beautiful queen. Your true fans are here for you, you are not alone. I love you.”
A second wrote: “Awwww brandi....im sooooo sorry....you’ve had nothing but hardships... sending all prayers for you...you’ll come back girl and smash it just watch.”
While a third penned: “Oh no Brandi, sending prayers that you get better.”
