When does Celebrity Big Brother start?

CELEBRITY Big Brother is back for 2025, with several of the big names who have signed up already being revealed.

On March 24, 2025, Flying Eze exclusively revealed the reality show's launch date — here's everything you need to know.

When does Celebrity Big Brother 2024 start?

Celebrity Big Brother 2025 is set to start on April 7, 2025.

The live launch begins at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Each episode of the reality series will be followed each night by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live — providing viewers with additional and exclusive content.

And theCelebrity Big Brother: Live Streamwill also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player.

Big Brother and CBB were both cancelled in September 2018 when it was still on Channel 5.

Plans to revive the format on ITV were later confirmed in 2022.

Who will host Celebrity Big Brother?

AJ Odudu and Will Best are the hosts of Celebrity Big Brother.

The pair made their debut as Big Brother presenters in October 2023.

The two hosts gave a major update on the new series following the launch date coming to light.

AJ and Will captured themselves at the broadcaster's headquarters, entering through a lift, before heading into another room.

They were then seen perched in front of two sets of microphones, where they were recording voiceovers for CBB 2025.

AJ took to her Instagram Stories to capture the videos and put: “What a start to the day, it's me and Will.

“We are doing voiceover together,” before he interjected: “Woohoo.”

She continued: “I've just seen your face on a lift and it really excites me.

“And now I'm like ‘he's here he's here'.”

New Big Brother house

Bosses have relocated thefamous house to a new area for the 2025 series — but it's not far from the old one.

In December 2024, it was revealed that the house would move to brand new location from its Garden Studios home where it has been since the show returned toITV.

But a fan-favourite feature has been ditched for the new series of CBB.

The Mezzanine floor — which was introduced byITVwhen it rebooted Big Bro in 2023 — has been scrapped.

Over the last two years it's often been a safe space for housemates to complain and talk about each other, after the smoking area was pulled from screens.

The move marks the fourth house for the reality show since its UK debut in 2000.

The first Big Brother house was purpose built inLondonwhere it played host to three series.

Celebrity Big Brother 2025 cast

As of March 25, 2025, the official Celebrity Big Brother line-up is yet to be revealed.

But there are a number of rumours swirling and a several of the show's cast have already been revealed.

Amongthe rumoured names so faris boxer and formerLove Island starTommy Fury and Eastenders actor James Bye.

On March 5, 2025, The sun was the first to announce that Daley Thompson was in ‘advanced talks' to join CBB 2025.

Flying Eze also exclusively revealed the following celebs will be appearing on the show:

• Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd, best known for playing Gail Platt's wayward son David Platt
• Towie legend Ella Rae Wise
• Drag Queen Danny Beard, who reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent and won Ru Paul's Drag Race
• Love Island hunk Chris Hughes

A source said: “Producers thinkChriswill be a great addition to the house.

“He is really entertaining and was one of the most popular and iconic reality contestants with a massive social media following.

“Execs are hoping he will bring his huge young fanbase with him to the show, along with some juicy tales.

“He's got loads of showbiz mates and has some famous ex girlfriends — he'll be brilliant.”
