Published on March 25, 2025 at 01:41 PM

THE glamorous world of Hollywood would be difficult to imagine without the busty displays of stars in showstopping outfits.

For years, some of our favourite celebrities have bravely confessed to having enhanced their natural assets.

Meanwhile, others have been forced to repeatedly deny boosting their boobs.

Lily Allen recently revealed how happy she is after taking the plunge and getting a boob job.

The Smile pop star, 39, went ahead with the cosmetic surgery following her split from Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 49.

Referring to her boobs, Lily told podcast co-host Miquita Oliver: “I've just got some new additions to the family, I don't know if you've noticed!”

The Brit mum-of-two added: “They look really incredible when I take my top off and my bra off (starting to laugh), but there is definitely a contrast in age to my face!”

On the flip side, reality TV star and billionaire Kim Kardashian and popstar Selena Gomez have both been the subject of continuous speculation about breast augmentation.

Here, we take a closer look at the celebs who have admitted to going under the knife to increase their boob size – and the ones who claim their assets are completely natural, despite all the speculation.

Fake and proud

Kourtney Kardashian: ‘I couldn't care less”

Kourtney Kardashian, 45, is just one of the Kardashian-Jenner clan who've been open about getting breast implants.

The mother-of-four admitted back in 2010, after the birth of her first son Mason, that she had implants fitted when she was 21 years old.

At the time, during a Nightline interview, Kourtney admitted that her implants were “no secret”;.

She said: “I have had breast implants, but it's so funny cause it's not a secret, I couldn’t care less.”;

Kourtney later admitted she regretted the surgery and was even considering getting them removed, but the multi-millionaire still hasn't confirmed that she has gone back to her pre-op bust.

Helen Flanagan: ‘So nice I don't have to wear a bra anymore'

The Coronation Street star, 34, has been open about getting a boob job after breastfeeding her children.

While Helen Flanagan admitted to always being “busty”, she said her breasts had naturally begun to sag after giving birth three times.

The mum kept the op a secret from fans in the run-up, but she was quick to come clean when she got out of surgery in 2023 and took to Instagram to keep followers in the loop.

Helen said as she recuperated: “Hi, so I wanted to pop on here. I'm actually really nervous about sharing this actually but I've had a boob job.

“I breastfed three babies for three years in total.

At the end, you could have tied my boobs in a bow though I have no regrets at all breastfeeding my babies.

Helen has since spoken about how much more confident she feels with her chest.

“Obviously, I very much am for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women, but supporting women in all choices that they decide to do,” she continued.

“I think if something really is bothering you, then I think, you know, it's a good thing to do something about it.”

Cardi B: ‘I felt super confident'

American rapper Cardi B has never been one to shy away from discussing her plastic surgery experiences.

Although people may have different opinions about her cosmetic enhancements, the 32-year-old says the tweaks make her feel at her most confident.

In an intimate chat with Mariah Carey for her Interview cover story she said: “Well, I'm from New York, right? And New York is a melting pot, especially where I grew up in the Bronx.

”I was really skinny when I was younger, and in the Bronx, it's about being thick and having an a** so young boys would be like, ‘Look at your flat a**. You ain't got no t—ies.' And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped.”

When the WAP rapper was old enough to work as a dancer in a strip club, she used her earnings to fork out for breast implants, which was the first step toward forgetting about her insecurities.

By age 20, enhancing her butt became her next priority.

“When I was 20, I went to the urban strip club, and in the urban strip clubs, you had to have a big butt.

”So I felt insecure about that. It took me back to high school. So I got my a** done.”

The plastic surgery procedures helped the star feel like the best version of herself. “Then I felt super confident. I feel so vindicated,” the mum-of-three said.

Fake – but not so proud

Victoria Beckham: ‘Just celebrate what you've got'

For years, Victoria Beckham, 50, denied that she had undergone plastic surgery after she suddenly transformed from her natural 34A to a 34DD overnight – but finally came clean in 2017.

Speculation that the former Spice Girl had gone under the knife to enhance her cleavage first began in the 1990s, before her biographer, Andrew Morton, revealed the star visited a London clinic for breast implants following the birth of her first son, Brooklyn, in 1999.

But despite increasing her bust size twice – with the latter surgery reportedly taking place in 2001 – Victoria has since grown to regret the breast op.

In a heartfelt 2017 letter to her younger self for British Vogue, the mum-of-five reflected on her decision to get implants and the insecurity that led to it.

“I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs,” she wrote. “All those years I denied it – stupid.

”A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got.”

The OG WAG eventually had her implants removed in 2014 and has since adopted a more natural approach to beauty.

Kylie Jenner: ‘I just wish I never got them done to begin with'

It wasn't until 2023 that Kylie Jenner, finally admitted that she had a secret breast op at age just 19, despite having vehemently denied going under the knife for years.

The Lip Kit businesswoman, now 27, made the bombshell revelation during an episode of The Kardashians and explained that she had surgery before welcoming her first child, Stormi, who is now seven.

”I got my breasts done before Stormi,” she said.

”Within six months of having Stormi – not thinking I would have a child when I was 20 – they were still healing.

”I had beautiful breasts, natural t**s, just gorgeous, perfect size, perfect everything. I just wish I never got them done to begin with.

”I would recommend anyone thinking about it to wait until after children.”

The billionaire also revealed that since becoming a mother, she has changed her mindset on her looks and admitted she would be devastated if her kids wanted to follow in her footsteps.

”I have a daughter, I would be heartbroken if she wanted to get her body done at 19,” she added.

”She's the most beautiful thing ever. I want to be the best mom and best example for her. I wish I could be her and do it all differently because I wouldn't touch anything.”

Me? Never!

Selena Gomez: ‘I am perfect the way I am'

From Botox to a nose job, American singer Selena Gomez has had to deny plastic surgery rumours on several occasions, including enhancing her cleavage.

Previously, the 32-year-old Disney star opened up about body changes, which sparked boob job speculation, in 2019.

“I experienced that with my weight fluctuation for the first time,”; she said at the time.

“I have lupus and deal with kidney issues and high blood pressure, so I deal with a lot of health issues, and for me, that’s when I really started noticing more of the body image stuff.

“For me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for that. That got to me big time. I think for me that really messed me up for a bit.

“But honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people b***h about it anyway,”; she said on TikTok in 2022.

“ ‘You’re too small. You’re too big. That doesn’t fit.’ ... B***h, I am perfect the way I am.”;

Holly Willoughby: ‘I'm reserving the right'

TV presenter Holly Willoughby, 44, has denied rumours of a boob job throughout the years, even joking her “t**s are around my knees” while talking about her body and ageing on Fearne Cotton‘s Happy Place podcast in 2021.

However, the mum-of-three has said she could be open to some cosmetic surgery in the future.

She said: “I probably will indulge in a few.”

She explained: “I'm reserving the right to decide how I feel about all that when I get there.

“What I do know for sure is that I want any decision to come from a positive place where I enjoy getting a little boost, and not a negative place where I think I need to be ‘fixed' outwardly in some way.”

Kim Kardashian: ‘I've always had big boobs'

Unlike her two sisters Kourtney and Kylie, Kim‘s never admitted to enhancing her boobs, despite ongoing rumours.

While Kanye‘s ex-wife, 44, has publicly confirmed using Botox and laser treatments to maintain her glow she has denied other, more invasive procedures, such butt implants or a boob job.

Last year, whilst appearing on The Kardashians, the billionaire even told her sister Khloe she'd much rather prefer smaller assets.

“I love small boobs, but I've always had big boobs,” she said.

“Khloe doesn't get how hard it is to work out when you really have big boobs bouncing around everywhere.”

The businesswoman, who's breastfed two of her kids, has previously claimed that she achieves a chest boost in certain outfits by using carefully positioned tape.

Common Causes of Saggy Boobs

From fake & proud to ‘I would never’ – all the celebs who’ve said yes to boob jobs & those who’ve denied surgery rumours 7

Gravity: Over time, the constant pull of gravity can cause the ligaments in the boobs to stretch and sag, especially in larger ones

Smoking: Smoking reduces blood supply to the skin, leading to a loss of elasticity and premature sagging

Lack of Support: Not wearing a properly fitting bra, especially during exercise, can lead to stretching of breast tissue and ligaments

Weight gain and loss: Changes in body weight can spark changes to the fatty tissue in the breasts, making them more prone to sagging

The Roar singer, who shot to fame in the early 2000s, has been a target of plastic surgery rumours for years – and Katy Perry finally put the speculations to bed in 2018.

While also speaking up for those who do choose to enhance their natural features, the now-40-year-old said: ”I haven't had any [surgeries],” she told Refinery29 in an interview.

“I've done lasers and got [filler] injections under my eyes for the hollowing — which I'd recommend for everyone who wants a solution for their dark circles — but all of my assets are real.

People tend to think they are fake, but it doesn't really matter.”

The mum-of-one, who shares daughter, Daisy Dove, with hubby Orlando Bloom, went on: “We're getting away from that negative stigma about physical alterations.

“Of course, always be your authentic self, but if someone wants a nose job that makes them feel better, and they love their profile more because of it, it's like, ‘Go ahead!' Do whatever makes you feel better about yourself.”

Salma Hayek: ‘The boobs grow – a lot'

Salma Hayek claims the menopause caused her boobs to grow

For many women, the menopause comes with mood swings, migraines and hot flashes – and according to actress Salma Hayek, 58, it was the menopause that led her breasts to grow ”many sizes”.

The House of Gucci star spoke to Red Table Talk hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris about going through the changes in her body.

”I'll tell you what they don't tell you. The boobs grow — a lot,” said Salma, who shares daughter Valentina with husband François-Henri Pinault.

”For some women they get smaller. But there are some women that when you gain weight, your boobs grow, and other women that when you have children and you breastfeed your boobs grow and they don't go back down, and then in some of the cases when you are in menopause, they grow again.

”And I just happen to be one of those women that it happened in every, single step! When I gain weight, when I got pregnant, and when I am in menopause.”

The bombshell explained that because her breasts have grown over the course of her career, there has been speculation that she got implants — which isn't the case.

”A lot of people said that I had breast augmentation. I don't blame them! My boobs were smaller! So was the rest of my body.”

While both fans and critics have claimed that the 31-year-old Disney star has had plastic surgery in the past, Ariana confirmed that she’s never gone under the knife.

During Vanity Fair’s lie detector test, Ariana’s Wicked co-star, Cynthia Erivo, questioned whether she had undergone any cosmetic procedures.

When asked whether she’s gotten a nose job, the Dangerous Woman singer answered: “No.”;

As for whether she’s had a “boob job,”; the Grammy winner replied: “No, can you imagine?”;

That said, her personal experience with cosmetic procedures doesn’t reflect her opinion on them.

“In full support of all people who do these things,”; she maintained.

“Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed.”;
