A MEGA supermarket has slashed the price of popular Easter eggs in time for the Bank Holiday weekend.
Thrifty bargain hunters have been sent into a frenzy after spotting the going for half the cost of other stores.


For a limited time, shoppers can snap up any large branded for just £2.32.
This crackling beats all other major supermarkets including , , , and .
The price drop applies to over a dozen large eggs, including popular households picks from , and Mars:
- Cadbury Crème Egg Large Egg, 195g â now £2.32
- Maltesers Teasers Milk Chocolate Large Egg, 190g â now £2.32
- Cadbury Caramilk Golden Caramel Chocolate Large Egg, 183g â now £2.32
- Galaxy Minstrels Large Egg, 204g â now £2.32.
Other cult favourite brands featured in the offer include Terry's, Eggs, Celebrations, and M&Ms.
This latest offer gives shoppers a chance to snag a bargain on larger eggs just before the big weekend.

One person commented: ‘’Them prices are reasonable I must say. I was in Aldi earlier and even the aldi easter eggs were in my opinion overpriced.
‘’I'm shocked at the prices for Easter eggs this year!’’
